I made my own applesauce today for the second time ever. This time I made a lot more with the intention of canning some of it. Which this is my first canning experience.. I'm so nervous. I don't have the right equipment yet, but I still managed with the pots that I already have.
It didn't turn out as sweet as the first batch I made, using the Fiji apples, but it was a lot cheaper getting the bags of apples instead of paying $1 per apple.
